Minutes

August 29, 2002

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, those in attendance were John Christiansen, Don Johnson, John Gover, Al Davis, Roger Wood, Kenny Howard, Barb Howard, Kevin Gates, Paul Roberts. The minutes form the June 27, 2002 meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, Don Johnson made a motion to except the minutes as read Roger Wood seconded the motion and all approved.

Treasurer Report Balance as of 7-26-2002 ($5461.88)

Interest for that period was ($207.13)

Bills were ($1849.00) to David Fire for Foam and Enductors

Bill For (15.00) for posting Financial statement in paper

New Business

Chairman John Christiansen had received a letter from the MERC with the Est. Amount for the July 1, 2002 - July 30, 2003 funds was (1633.63) Forma for the term have not Been sent in and the group decided to have John Christiansen and John Gover fill out the paper work and send in.

John Christiansen reported that the Emergency Management budget had a balance of around $3000.00

Roger Wood Stated that he needed a letter for Agreement fo use and care of the foam and Inductors

Al Davis gave a update report on the Radio/Repeater Al Stated that we can purchase a Used Micron for $1300 and a new 50 watt for $1800. Don Johnson Made a motion to purchase a 100watt Micron & all needed equipment for an amount not to exceed $3000.00 Roger Wood seconded the motion and all approved.

Al Davis stated that we needed to purchase 6 new batteries for the handy talkies at $50.00 each. Don Johnson Made a motion to purchase 6 Batteries at $50.00 each and Roger Wood 2^nd and All approved.

The group set the October meeting date for October 30, 2002

Next Meeting will Be September 26, 2002
