Minutes

Sept 30, 1999

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, those in attendance were John Christiansen, John Gover, Roger Woods, Jerry Hart. The minutes form the August meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, and approved by the group.

The group set the date for the upcoming EOC exercise to be on November 8, 1999 from the hours of 10:00 to 11:30 in the commissioners office at the St. Clair county court house. There is a letter to be sent out to all agencies in the county to attend the exercise.

It was ask to see if Sandy Kelly of the American Red Cross could attend the exercise and to see if Bob Easton with Henry County LEPC/EMA could attend as an Observer.

On October the 13, 1999 there is to me a SMECO quartly meeting at Smiths Rest. In Collins and it was ask that all attend if possible.

The next meeting date was set for October the 28, 1999

There was a motion by Jerry Hart to skip the November and December 199 meetings and the date of January 27, 2000 was set as the next scheduled meting Bill Theel 2^nd the motion and the group agreed.

There was a suggestion brought forward by Roger Wood, Collins Fire Chief to see if the LEPC could help the Fire Departments in the county establish a Internet Computer System so that the Departments and the Lepc could turn in Spill reports, LEPC Teirr II reports and Fire reports. There was a motion By John Gover to have the LEPC pay for a INTERNET service and phone line to be hooked up in the court for all departments to us to submit reports. a second was made by John Christiansen and all approved. This motion must be submitted before the county Commissioners for approval.

John Christiansen stated that the budget had been sent in for approval.
