Minutes

SEPTEMBER 26, 1996

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, at 7:30 p.m.

Motion made to waive the reading of minuets of last meeting due to the absence of Sec/Tres. John Gover.. Motion by Don Johnson and seconded by Jerry Hart.

There were no Sub-Committee reports.

OLD BUSINESS

Question raised as to sending out agendas and posting it in public places. Also mentioned was being able to put something in the paper and start some public education on the LEPC. Decided that we will start setting an agenda for next meeting before adjouring. Also decided to start posting agenda at the Post Offices and the Courthouse. Will also leave a copy of the minuets with Donna Houston at the Courthouse for public use.

Motion Made at this time for Tracye Hamption to act as Sec Pro Tem in the absence of Sec/Tres. John Gover. Motion Made by Don Johnson and seconded by Jerry Hart. John Christiansen said that he hadn't heard anything back from the on approval of the Bylaws. Don Johnson said it was possible that they might ask for a final draft of such. Budget proposal for 96/97 discussed (attached).

NEW BUSINESS

A: TRAINING COMMITTEE:

Sac-Osage Fire Deptartment had a DeCon Class on September 19,1996.

Collins Fire Department has ask for a Hazmat Operational Class, but no confirmation as of yet.
