Minutes

SEPT 25, 1997

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, those in attendance were John Christiansen, Don Johnson, John Gover, Roger wood, William A. Theal, and Tracye Hampton. The minutes form the August 28, 1997 meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, Don Johnson made a motion to except the minutes as read Tracye Hampton seconded the motion and all approved.

New Business

Chairman John Christiansen opened discussion on the 1997 - 1998 budget, due to the next meeting falling after the deadline for submitting the budget, John Christiansen and John Gover prepared the budget and submitted it to the Commissioner for approval. John Christiansen presented the budget to the group and explained that he had included a copy of the Flow Study, and copies of the meetings and training courses from the 1996-1997 physical year. After discussion on it's contents ask for a motion to except as submitted. Don Johnson made the motion to except the budget for years 1997-1998 as submitted and Roger Wood seconded the motion all approved.

John Gover and John Christiansen presented some photos taken with the new digital camera and some samples of the marplot program and some information about the Aloha and Camieo programs.

John Christiansen submitted an application for a free GIS system for the county, and explained some of the details of the information about the system.

There was a question about Insurance on the computer system as it is now kept the Sec. House till the office in the Court House is finished. John Christiansen said he would check with the county clerk about insuring the system.

There was a bill for $251.10 for software inv # 97-09-001 to Excel Computers. Don Johnson made a motion to pay the bill, and William Theal seconded the motion and all approved.

As of September 10, 1997 the LEPC has a ending balance of $144.57 after bill inv# 97-09-001 was paid.

Don Johnson made a motion to adjourn and John Gover Seconded all approved.
