Treasurer's Report: $4634.66 total remaining on April 12, 2011 in LEPC and $3928.04 total remaining on April 11, 2011 in EMA. $71.50 Clips and badge holders for badges,
$150.00 John Christiansen SEMA Conference, $150.00 Sheila Christiansen SEMA Conference, $150.00 John Gover SEMA Conference, and $748.80 Lodging Fees for SEMA Conference has been paid according to Debbie. Outstanding: $ 274.40 for Web posting. EM account has a budget that has been submitted. LEPC account budget has been submitted according to John Christiansen. Training:
HAZMAT and Chemical suicide are on hold since Michael White has left his
position. Dawn and Karen are not doing anything until after the
Conference.
Survey for MERC was done by several members.
Transcaer & BNSF information was passed around.
Conferences:
SEMA Spring Conference May 3-6 will be attended by John & Sheila
Christiansen and John Gover.
Public Health Preparedness Conference June 28-29 will be attended by Jeanne
Millsap.
Exercises:
October 27 Poultry tabletop by Region D in Mt. Vernon - HSEEP report was
completed and sent in according to Jeanne.
Real Event HSEEP report is waiting for John Christiansen to add to the report.
March 31 Beef Exercise Mt. Vernon 8:30 to 15:00 - Jeanne
April 28, 2011 Great Central U.S. Shakeout was not participated by those present.
May 16-20 Statewide Earthquake Exercise - EOC open on the 18th at the
Courthouse, then will probably move to the public health department.
Phone lines and DSL are questionable at the courthouse in the basement.
Meetings
Homeland Security Subcommittee information was shared by John Gover on GIS
and virtual USA state to state talk, statewide USNG online training.
SMESO meeting was attended by John Christiansen and Jeanne Millsap.
Agriculture - John Christiansen and Jeanne Millsap attended a meeting at the
courthouse with the Commissioners and Matt Lawrence from SES, Inc. on
the 13th of April to update the agriculture Region D directory.
Pipeline Association information was shared.
FEMA - Blizzard information was declared by the city and districts in the county.
Some of the districts will need to give more information.
HAM Radio net – Steve Pierce reported March 7 - 6 call ins, March 14 - 8 call ins, March
21 - 7 call ins, March 28 - 3 call ins, April 4 - 8 call ins, April 11 - 8 call ins,
April 18 - 5 call ins, April 25 - 15 call ins. Steve also reported on the airport
situation.
Sheltering – Glenda Wiese was unable to attended, but sent an e-mail that there will be a
new county manager, Brad Bembrey, that will start May 1.
Bio-Terrorism/Pandemic Influenza - Jeanne Millsap reported on MHA - Northern Tier
meeting was April 6th at 10 am at Ellett Memorial Hospital and that they were
given information on assessment of the county. Northern Tier will meet on July 6
at Sac-Osage Hospital at 10:00 am. She also reported on Region D
Regional Homeland Security Oversite Committee meeting on April 20 in Monett
was attended and FY08 money was voted upon. FY10 money is being held up.
Next meeting is May 13 for reallocation of money. Planners meeting March 29 &
30 was attended by Jeanne.
Mitigation Plan is back and needs updating/changed due to SEMA/FEMA.
Emergency Operations Plan is being worked on to update by John Christiansen.
Agriculture Annex W, Annex R - Special Needs, Annex R - Special Needs, Annex P - Debris Removal, Annex S - Animal Care Plan, and others are being worked on.
