Minutes

April 25, 2002

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, those in attendance were John Christiansen, John Gover, Al Davis, Jerry Hart, Larry Kottwitz, and Roger Wood. The minutes form the April 24, 1997 meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, Al Davis made a motion to except the minutes as read Roger Wood seconded the motion and all approved.

Old Business

Chairman John Christiansen opened the floor for discussion on Purchase of Triple F Foam and enductors. Roger Wood showed the group a POK enductor loaned to the LEPC and for try out. The group made final agreement to purchase 2 POK enductors and 20 - 5Gal of triple F - Foam From David's Fire Equipment for $1849.00 including shipping. John Gover will issue a purchase order for the Equipment.

Al Davis gave information on the repeater for LEPC/EMA, He stated that we can get a refurb Micron with new antenna for $2104 and a new Motorola 50 Watt with antenna for $2653.00 The group tabled the purchase till more information can be obtained.

The radio Freq call sign for LEPC/EMA is WPUQ836, There was discussion of how to control the radio freq. and who to setup guidelines for how and who will be allowed to use the freq. Chairman John Christiansen stated that all FCC Laws will apply and Complied with.

The LEPC received $2,271.47 form the MERC for the 2002 Fiscal Year.

Jerry Hart made a motion to Adjourn, and Jerry Hart Seconded All approved.
