Minutes

April 24, 2003

The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Don Johnson, those in attendance were John Christiansen, John Gover, Robert Bray, Roger Wood, Davis Switzner, Al Davis, Mark Hampton Jr., Jerry Hart, and Melvin Bonner. The minutes form the March 27, 2003 meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, Al Davis made a motion to except the minutes as read David Switzner seconded the motion and all approved. Treasures report bills April 17, 2003 for $33.25 to General Revenue for public report, Deposit of $1912.73 from HMEP Funds for 2003, with a balance April 21,2003 of $6831.39. Al Davis made a motion to except the treasurers report as read, and all approved.

New Business

Chairman John Christiansen opened the floor for discussion. Roger Wood Reported that he had received the 10-5 gallon units of foam and will get 4 units to Lowry City fire department as soon as John Gover gets him the form to release and sign for receiving by the department.

Jerry Hart made a motion to give Iconium Fire 3 units and to hold the remaining 3 units in storage. Bob Bray seconded the motion and all approved.

David Switzner made a motion to purchase an enductor for Appleton City Fire in a amount not to exceed $400.00 and have Roger Woods make the purchase, Jerry Hart Seconded the motion and all approved.

John Gover made a request to purchase a new printer HP 1220 Deskjet that has photo quality for making ID'S and with a larger format to print maps. Al Davis Made a motion to purchase the printer, David Switzner seconded and all approved.

Jerry Hart made a motion to reimburse John Christiansen $24.00 for PO box Rent that he had payed. Bob Bray Seconded the motion and all approved.

Next Meeting will be May 29, 2003 at the Courthouse in Osceola, Mo.
