Minutes

August 28, 2003

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, those in attendance were John Christiansen, John Gover, Roger Wood, Paul Roberts, Ken Howard, Larry Gates, Jean Barham, Jerry Hart, Bob Bray and Melvin Bonner. The Minutes taken by John Christiansen in the July 31 meeting were read and approved.

John Christiansen will check of a bill that is past due to Davids Fire which should already be paid.

John Christiansen got a letter for a schudel K on the radio License and will ask Al Davis to see what is needed on this.

John Christiansen reported that the MERC has Approved funds for certian CMSU Courses.

Hazmat Awareness classes are now avaiable on line at no cost at www.mufrti.org

On the EOP update, all Departments need to be getting all information for updates to submit to Berger Group which is working on the draft to be submitted later in the year.

John Gover is to contact Davis Communication to get Duplicate Invoice for the Programing cord and software for the handheld radios that was approved first of the year.

There was descuission on the Radio Repeater installation, Basement Remodeling, Flow studies, Sight Studies and Tabletop

Jerry Hart made a motion to let the LEPC finance funds from the MERC to do flow studies and getting the fire departments to work on them. Bob Bray seconded the motion and all approved.
