St. Clair County LEPC Meeting Minutes for August 31, 2006
Call to order by Don Johnson at 7:05 p.m.
Those present: Robert Albertson, Larry Gates, John C. Gover, Jerry M. Hart, Don Johnson, Jeanne Millsap, Gerald Williams, and Roger B. Wood.
Minutes were posted on the internet and were read by Jeanne Millsap. Motion to accept minutes as read was made by Roger Wood, with second by Gerald Williams, and all in favor. Motion carried.
No treasurer’s report was given.
A discussion with the group was on the need to resubmit the grant for more radios. Discussion on radio costs, batteries and chargers needed.
John Gover showed the new ID Badge program. He will need a schedule of fire department meetings, so he can get pictures for the ID badges and information needed for the ID badge computer program. Bills were submitted for the tote box and USB Hub for $52.00 – signed and ready to be sent in. ID tags for the equipment have already been obtained. The bill for dinner for the ID Badge meeting was submitted for $22.65.
Jerry Hart stated Sac-Osage Hospital had completed training yesterday.
A motion was made to look into paying for lunch, training exercise, and location for the Pandemic Influenza Tabletop Exercise for October 5 in Lowry City. Motion was made by Jerry Hart with a second from Robert Albertson, all were in favor. Motion carried.
Discussion about who would be coming for the exercise.
Jeanne Millsap reported she had attended the Emergency Response and Tabletop Water Exercise put on by DNR in Collins. Jerry Hart reported same exercise in other locations in the State.
John Gover reported that John Christiansen had submitted the budget for 2006/2007.
Motion to adjourn was made by Jerry Hart with second from Gerald Williams with all in favor. Motion carried with adjournment at 7:38 p.m.
