Old Business:
ID Badges still setting up appointments. Sheila will be attending meetings and will get the computer and equipment to either John Gover or Jeanne Millsap while she is gone.
Training:
Weather Spotters Training will be either October 23,24,25, 30,31, November
6,7 or 8.
Mutual Aid Agreements John Christiansen has not received any copies as of this date.
John will send Jeanne a copy of an agreement for the radios.
Update on EOP John is still working on this.
NIMS training St. Clair County Family Services Division, St. Clair County Courthouse
and St. Clair County Health Center have turned in their lists of employees that
have completed NIMS courses. There will be a class for ICS 100 and 700 on September 4th, ICS 800 & 200 on September 10th at the Scout Camp in Iconium. A review will take place on the 12th. All start at 8:00 am. A 300 class is being planned and will be announced soon.
Telatask notification system Jeanne will try to get the company representative to
present the information on the system at one of our meetings.
Grant LEPC funding Havent heard about the grant for CERT.
New Business:
Need to get a new
computer Motion to buy a new computer was made by John Gover
with second from Jeanne Millsap, all in favor.
Sheltering Family Services Debbie Burns not present
Regional Homeland Security Oversight Committee Mass Care and Volunteer Services
Coordinator Missouri Region D Greg Gaines not present but did call and will
try to attend as soon as possible.
March 25-28, 2008 will be the Emergency Management Conference see SEMA website
for details.
September 29th will be a Propane Burn in Osceola from 9am 11 pm LEPC will pay
for this. The training begins at the Fire House at 9:00 am and the burn is in the
parking lot.
Jeanne Millsap informed everyone of the health fair in Appleton City on October 29th
where she gave Ready in 3 and Pandemic information out. There will be Health
Fairs: September 5 at Lowry City Senior Center, September 12 at Osceola Senior
Center, and October 3 at Collins City Hall. All are from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. September 13 Jeanne will attend an Influenza Workshop in Springfield.
John Gover and Jeanne Millsap will attend the Crisis Communications Conference in
Tan-tar-a in September.
Jeanne will attend the Bio-terrorism Conference in Columbia on September 26 & 27.
John Christiansen will attend a water distribution class on October 3.
September 12 bicyclers will be coming through the county. Collins Fire Department will
be assisting with traffic. Some roads will be blocked off. See KDKD website for

Discussion was held on having the LEPC meeting in Appleton City on occasion Doug
Snodgrass offered the Fire Station to meet.
Steve had talked to John Christiansen about Skywarn System in place, need to have
HAM Radio checks for weekly test of communications. Appleton City has the
only repeater in the county.
