Minutes

February 28, 2002

The meeting was called to order by Vice - Chairman Don Johnson, those in attendance were Don Johnson, John Gover, Roger Wood, Al Davis, Robert Bray Paul Roberts, Kevin Gates, Jerry Hart, and Kenneth Howard. The minutes form the January 31, 2002 meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, Jerry Hart made a motion to except the minutes as read Kevin Gates seconded the motion and all approved.

Old Business

Vice - Chairman Don Johnson opened the floor for any old business, Al Davis gave a report on the repeater. Al had located a used Motorola Micor With 100 watt transmitter and receiver, Antenna, programing, cabling, duplexes, for $2000. There was a motion by Roger Wood to purchase the repeater with funds from the Emergency Management Funds Account for around $2000 and Robert Bray seconded the motion, and all approved.

The foam committee reported that they were unable to get yet. They are to report at the next meeting on what 20 units of foam, an inductor that injects it at the truck and a nozzles.

Don Johnson opened the flood for nomination for vice chairman. Jerry Hart nominated Don Johnson and there were no other nomination. Robert Bray made a motion to move that nominations cease. All agreed and all approved Don Johnson for a four year term as Vice Chairman.

Jerry Hart made a motion to adjourn, Al Davis Seconded and all approved.
