St. Clair County LEPC Meeting Minutes for July 24, 2008 at St. Clair County Courthouse in Osceola

 

Call to Order by John Gover at 19:00.

Those Present: Jeanne Millsap, Robert Albertson, Sheila Christiansen, John Gover, Paul Roberts, and Jerry Hart.

Minutes accepted as written for June 19, 2008 with a Motion by Sheila Christiansen and Second by Paul Roberts with all in favor.

Expenses : Daymark maintenance on software $230.00 to cover from 8/28/08 to

      Plastic sleeves for badges for hospital $86.50

Motion to pay the expenses was made by Jeanne Millsap, Second by Robert Albertson with all in favor.

Old Business:

ID Badges – Sheila Christiansen is working on stragglers and rescue. All are in the new computer.

Training: Hazmat – no report

MERIS training has started. John Gover and Jeanne Millsap will attend the training on July 29th at Warrensburg.

Mutual Aid Agreements give copies to John Christiansen.

Update on EOP – on hold until August.

HAM Radio net – check in for 7/7/08 was 7. List of HAM operators is needed by the Sac-Osage Hospital. Jeanne will get the list to Jerry Hart.

Sheltering – no report.

GETS Cards – Jerry Hart would like information on this. Jeanne will get the information to him.

Bio-Terrorism and Pandemic Influenza: need to plan for refrigeration truck, security, need MOU’s and need to know the dementions. August 9th is the end of the Pandemic Contract and Bio-Terrorism Contract. Only the Bio-terrorism will renew.

New Business:

By-Laws changes needed (tabled until August)

Announcements:

Faith Based Initiative meetings are scheduled: August 7-8 in Warrensburg and September 12-13 in Springfield, as well as others throughout the state.

Crisis Communications Conference is October 8-10 in Kansas City.

Missouri HazMat Sympposium is set for December 11-14 at Tan-Tara

Next meeting: August 28, 2008 at 19:00 at the location to be announced.
