Minutes

June 28, 2001

The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, those in attendance were John Christiansen, John Gover, Al Davis, Jim Wright, Richard Vaughn, Kent Howard, Larry Kottwitz, Jerry Hart, Roger Wood, Paul Roberts, Kevin Gates, David Switzner. The minutes form the May, 2001 meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, Jerry Hart made a motion to except the minutes as read Al Davis seconded the motion and all approved.

Treasures report was read With a balance of $6400.02 Jerry Hart made a motion to except the Treasures report as read Al Davis Seconded and all approved.

John Gover submitted 2 bills from the April SEMA Conference, to be submitted to the county for payment, Bill # 04262001-01 for meals, amount $35.64 And bill # 04262001-02 for mileage, amount $62.40. Al Davis made a motion to pay these bills and Jerry Hart seconded all approved.

Al Davis made a motion to allow Al Davis and Jim Wright to draw up the Application papers to apply for a radio repeater license from the FCC at be submitted to the county commission for approval. Jim Wright seconded the motion and all approved.

John Gover presented a bill for Software (Microsoft FrontPage Up grade) Bill # 06282001-01 for $123.53 to Excel Computers. Jerry Hart made a motion to pay the bill and Roger Wood seconded, all approved.

Roger Wood is to look into the purchase of firefighters Foam for Fuel spills and the cost and shelf life, for the LEPC to consider purchasing for the fire departments use.

There were 3 volunteers for a committee to put together a table top exercise in October, John Gover, Al Davis and David Switzner.

Al Davis Made a motion to adjourn, Paul Roberts seconded All approved.

John Christiansen adjourned the meeting.
