Minutes



June 27, 2002



The meeting was called to order by Sect/Tres John Gover, those in attendance were John Gover, Al Davis, Roger Wood, Robert Bray, Kent Howard, David Switzner Richard Vaughn, Paul Roberts, Kevin Gates, and Jerry Hart. The minutes form the May 30, 2002 meeting was read by Sec/Tres John Gover, Al Davis, made a motion to except the minutes as read , David Switzner seconded the motion and all approved. Balance as of June 28, 2002 was $5254.75 Al Davis made a motion to except Tres Report Bob Bray seconded All Approved.



Old Business

Sect/Tres John Gover opened the floor for discussion on business, David Switzner updated on the letter supporting the AED's had been written and that John Christiansen had signed the letter.



Al Davis that there was no new information on the Radio repeaters to discuss at this time.



Roger Wood stated that the Fire enductors and Foam had been delivered to him and ask where they were to be distributed to. It was decided that Collins, Lowry City, Appleton City and Osceola would each get 5-5 gallon units of FFFA foam and that The 2 enductors would go to Collins and Lowry City. Roger wanted a contract written to have the departments that were to receive the enductors to agree to maintain and train to use the Equipment.



Al Davis made a request to purchase 7 new 100ma batteries for the 7 handi-talkies that the LEPC had bought in 2000. There was a question on who had the 7 radios, Al stated that 2 had not been handed out and that the following people had the other 5 radios.

The Group Turned down the request to by all the batteries at once but to replace them on an as needed bases.



Paul Roberts Stated that FEMA is as of July 1, 2002 Excepting apps for fire Grants.



Larry Gates is now the Fire Chief of Iconumin Fire Department.



There were no reports form the committee on the updates to the county EOP .



Al Davis Made a motion to adjourn and David Switzner 2nd all approved.
