Shelter class in Collins was attended by 24 people.

Missouri Interoperable Communications February 8-10 attended - not sure if Don
Stockton attended.
GIS February 14-16 Tan-Tar-A was attended by John Gover.
SEMA Spring Conference May 3-6 will be attended by Sheila and John
Christiansen, and John Gover.
Exercises:
October 27 Poultry tabletop by Region D in Mt. Vernon - HSEEP report - Jeanne
is still working on this. Just received the final copy from Region D
RHSOC about three weeks ago.
Real Event HSEEP report - Jeanne gave a copy to John Christiansen for
comments. Jeanne is working on this.
March 31 Beef Exercise Mt. Vernon 8:30 to 15:00 will be attended by John
Christiansen and Jeanne Millsap.
April 28, 2011 Great Central U.S. Shakeout
May 16-20 Statewide Earthquake Exercise - EOC will open on May 18th from
8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Website update & Microsoft Frontpage - John Gover said the website has been updated and that when the new version of the program is needed it will cost around $236.00.
HAM Radio net – Steve Pierce gave the ARES report for December was 25, for January was 38, for February was 22.
Sheltering – Glenda Wiese reported nothing new.
Bio-Terrorism/Pandemic Influenza - Jeanne Millsap
Radiation concerns and use of potassium iodine was talked about.
MHA - Northern Tier April 6th at 10 am at Ellett Memorial Hospital. Didn't have
the February meeting due to weather.
RHSOC - had a meeting on March 2. Next meeting will be April 20 at 9:00 am in
Monett. The generator switch will be brought up in the June meeting for
consideration for funding. Jeanne will work on the forms for the IJ.
Training on the forms will be April 11 in Springfield.
Planners meeting March 29 & 30 will be attended by Jeanne. New tool forms and
preparedness for Earthquake Exercise.
Medical Reserve Corp. meeting was held February 28 in Monett.
Heartland Center order form was passed around for product orders.
Mitigation Plan is back from SEMA, but John has not heard from Pioneer Trails.
HAZMAT Plan is being updated by John Christiansen.
New Business:
Michael White has
been asked to schedule a HAZMAT training and Chemical suicide
training classes, but John
Christiansen has not received anything from him. He
has called Dawn with MERC and
discussed this with her.
EOP update for 2011
has a few legal statements that need to be inserted. Annex C public information
and functional needs instead of special needs., resource supply and reception
and care, new update on terrorism annex. 3 Annex have been changed - P is Ag.
Terrorism, Q is Donations, R is Debree Removal. Department of Ag is rewriting
the Ag. Annex and wants to meet with veterinarian, commissioner and livestock
people in the county.
We need to have a
staging area for a catastrophic event. Several sites were discussed.
Discussion on Dam
failure.
Sirens didn't go off
on tornado drill found that they are broken down and no one called the
hospital.
Governor is looking
at DSL for every community and reverse 911 notification systems.
Airport discussion
of needs.
SMESO will be
meeting on April 14 at Bolivar at 10:00 am due to the final planning conference
meeting on April 13th.
