Minutes



October 29, 2004



The meeting was called to order by Chairman John Christiansen, those in attendance were John Christiansen, Don Johnson, John Gover, Paul Roberts, Ken Howard, Larry Gates, Melvin Bonner.



John Christiansen open the meeting on discussion on complying with the sunshine laws. He stated that we need to start posting all notices and minutes in two places and to post secludes and agendas in a timely manor.



John also opened the discussion on the flow studies and site studies. Don Johnson made a motion to pay $1000 to Collins Fire Department to conduct a commodity Flow study at the Junction of Missouri Highway's 13 and 54. Time frame to be November 1, 2004 and December 31, 2004 This study is to be for 24 continuos hours with a minium of 3 people collecting data at all times. Collins Fire should ask other county departments for help if needed and is responsible for the compensation. Payment will be made on submitting of Data. Ken Howard Seconded the motion and all approved.



Don Johnson also made a motion to have any Emergency services agency help with Hazmat site study under the direction of Iconium fire department. The Lepc will Pay $500 Icomuim for the site studies and Iconium will compensate the helping agencies. Ken Howard seconded the motion and all approved.



Don Johnson made a motion to skip the November and December 2004 meetings , Larry Gates 2nd and all agreed, John Christiansen stated that the next meeting would be January the 27th 2005.



Don Johnson made a motion to adjourn, Ken Howard seconded and all approved and chairman John Christiansen adjourned the meeting
