St. Clair County LEPC Meeting Minutes for October 26, 2006
Call to Order by John Christiansen at 19:00.
Those present: Robert Albertson, Melvin Banner, John Christiansen, Sheila Christiansen, Al Davis, John Gover, Jerry Hart, Don Johnson, Jeanne Millsap, Paul Roberts, and Roger Wood.
Minutes from September 28, 2006 were accepted with changes Richard Albertson changed to Robert Albertson in three places. Motion was made by Robert Albertson and second made by Sheila Christiansen.

Motion to accept the report was made by Jeanne Millsap, and second made by Al Davis with all in favor. Motion carried.
Old Business:
ID Badges – John Gover is working on getting the program working. Sheila Christiansen and Jeanne Millsap offered to help in obtaining badges throughout the St. Clair County.
NIMS requirements – Jay Knight is working on getting the courthouse compliant.
NIMS classes – NIMS 300 will be taught in Springfield November 13, 14, & 15. NIMS 400 will be taught November 16 & 17 in Springfield. To sign up for these two classes call Carole or Carolyn at 417-869-6040 to register. Also there will be NIMS 300 taught October 31, November 1&2 at Arnold (North) Campus and NIMS 400 on November 20 & 21. To register for this call 636-797-3000 ext. 425 or fax 636-789-2047.
Hazmat class is being checked into.
Agro-Terrorism training will be November 30 for 6 hours. John Christiansen will check to see if we can hold the class at the Scout Building in Lowry City.
Weather Spotter Training will be February 28, 2007 at 19:00. Jerry Hart will check on use of the Methodist Church in Osceola.
Radio Grant – John Christiansen needs a list of radios to dispose of by the end of December 2006. Roger Wood will check on Collins, John Christiansen will check on Iconium, Paul Roberts will check on Rescue, and Jay Knight is checking Appleton City.
Mutual Aid Agreements – need to promote and accomplish. Two types needed: one on radio frequency use (need a letter of agreement) and the other on reimbursement of expenses for use of equipment, personnel time, etc. A discussion took place about Mutual Aid Agreements.
Emergency Contact Lists Updates – need to update churches. Any changes need to be given to John Christiansen to keep an up-to-date list, preferably as they occur. On My Own currently supplies special needs list.
New Business:
Missouri School Board Association website for School and kits is available according to Jeanne Millsap. Pandemic Influenza report of no Asian stains of H5N1, but the U.S. does have milder Northern strain according to DHSS. A “Ready-in-3 Pandemic Community Guide” booklet is in print and will soon be ready to distribute. Also a “Business Continuity Guide” for Pandemic will be coming out. There will be regional “Pandemic Planning Summits” in the summer of 2007. There will be exercise/drills on Quarantine & Isolation that will be taking place in summer 2007. A Public Health & Law Conference will take place in March 2007.
Announcements:
There will need to be more meetings on the radios according to John Christiansen.
The next regular LEPC meeting will be January 25, 2007 at 19:00 at the Courthouse.
